Tina Shah founded MedSpan Clinical Rotations and continues to guide its long-term direction and partnerships. Daily operations are led by the management team.
She brings more than 15 years of experience across clinical research and defense contracting, built in proposal development, contract management, and operations. At Raytheon, Cardinal Health, ResearchPoint Global, RRD International, Altasciences, and Firma Clinical Research, she led and rebuilt proposal and contract management functions, bringing discipline to complex, deadline-driven bid and award processes.
That background shaped MedSpan's founding premise: expanding access to third-year clinical rotations through durable physician partnerships, student-centered planning, and placement systems built to scale.
Managing Partner - Janak Patel
Janak Patel serves as Partner and Advisor to MedSpan Clinical Rotations, supporting the company’s long term strategy, institutional relationships, and scalable hub development model. Drawing on a background in real estate development, structured finance, and growth strategy, he advises leadership on growth strategy, partnership development, and operational design.
